Supreme Court & Appellate
Special leave petitions, civil and criminal appeals, transfer petitions and statutory appeals from tribunals such as the NCLAT and APTEL.
Law. Strategy. Resolution.
A litigation and advisory firm in New Delhi, led by its partners and present every day before the Supreme Court, the High Court of Delhi and the national tribunals.
The Firm
Nex Legal is led by its partners, Kunal Singh and Mahi Sharma. A partner reads every file, settles every strategy and remains answerable for every result.
The firm operates from its head office in Defence Colony and its branch office in Greater Kailash I, both in South Delhi and within easy reach of the Supreme Court, the High Court of Delhi, the NCLT and NCLAT benches, the Debts Recovery Tribunals and the district courts at Saket and Patiala House. That lets us attend urgent mentions, inspect records and file at short notice.
The partners and associates of the firm have acted for public institutions, statutory regulators, insurance corporations, banks and financial institutions, liquidators and corporate entities, and for individual litigants in sensitive civil, family and criminal matters. Working on both sides helps us anticipate how the other side and the bench will view a case. In matters of significance we brief senior counsel of standing, always in consultation with the client.
We read the statute, the record and the precedent closely, and give advice in plain words that a client can act on.
We build the case around what the client actually needs: the right forum, the right relief and the right moment to press or to settle.
We measure ourselves by the outcome we secure, not by the length of the proceedings we conduct.

Our People
Nex Legal is led by two equal partners. Every matter the firm accepts is assigned to a partner, who settles its strategy and remains the client's point of contact from the first brief to the final order.
Associates
Associates of the firm draft pleadings, applications and written submissions, appear on mentions and procedural hearings, and conduct trials under the supervision of a partner.
Senior Counsel
In matters of significance the firm briefs senior counsel practising before the Supreme Court and the High Court of Delhi, always in consultation with the client and on fees agreed in advance.
Research & Registry
The research team, paralegals and registry clerks handle legal research, paper books, filing and defect removal, listing, inspection of records and the firm's limitation diary.
How We Work
The same standards apply to every engagement, whether it is a single hearing or a portfolio of matters.
Every new matter is acknowledged within one working day, with the name of the responsible partner and associate.
Within three working days we set out the merits, the risks, the likely timeline and the estimated costs. Urgent matters are assessed the same day.
Pleadings and applications are shared for the client's approval well before filing. Urgent filings are made within forty-eight hours of complete instructions.
On the day of each hearing the client receives a note of what transpired, the next date and any action required.
Institutional clients receive a consolidated matter tracker every month and a review of their portfolio every quarter.
